What is a lemon law?
Lemon laws are designed to protect consumers from manufacturer defects. These laws ensure that sellers refund consumers if a vehicle cannot be fixed or replaced. The criteria that establish whether a car is protected under a lemon law vary for each state. The Arkansas lemon law protects consumers for up to two years after the delivery date of the vehicle or the first 24,000 miles, whichever occurs last. What do I do if I have a lemon? Under Arkansas lemon law, you are entitled to a refund or a replacement if the dealer or manufacturer has failed to correct the defect after four repair attempts, or if the car has been out of use for thirty days. The defect must substantially impair the value of your vehicle or your ability to use the vehicle. If the problem makes the vehicle dangerous in a way that may cause death or serious bodily harm, you may demand a refund after two unsuccessful attempts to correct the defect. Can the manufacturer refuse my claim? Under certain circumstances, the manufacturer has the right to refuse your claim. For example, if you are responsible for the damage or defect, you will not be covered under Arkansas lemon law. The manufacturer is also entitled to a reasonable amount of time in which to repair the vehicle. A refund will not be granted until after the fourth unsuccessful claim attempt. After the third attempt, you must request a final repair in writing. If the manufacturer fails to schedule a repair within 10 days, they must replace the vehicle or provide a refund. How do I get the refund? If you have followed the appropriate procedures, the manufacturer should offer you a refund, or replace the vehicle. You have the right to refuse a replacement vehicle, if offered, and demand a refund. If the manufacturer still refuses your claim, you can file for a hearing in an informal dispute resolution process. If this fails to satisfy your claim, you may file against the manufacturer in court.

One of the best ways to search for a film school to enroll to is through researching about them over the internet. There are a lot of websites that post reviews of filmmaking schools that aspiring film makers could read on for them to have a clearer idea of which film school would attend to their educational needs. There are even film schools that offer dormitories where students can stay. The dormitories are usually occupied by foreign students and those who come from faraway places. There are also film making schools that offer scholarships to students with excellent grades and credentials. Students who have amazing talents in terms of film making and other modes of entertainment are also given scholarships. They are asked to auditions so as to determine if they are good candidates for scholarship or not. When I was looking for a film school to enroll to, I always make it a point to know of a certain film school is providing scholarships or not. Since I want to study outside the country, it would be better to study in a film school that offer scholarship because studying outside the country could be very expensive. I submitted my application via online. After a week, the film school contacted me and asked me to submit other requirements such as school credentials. They also interviewed me via online and I was asked to create an essay that would explain why I deserve to be provided with a scholarship. After several days of waiting, they sent me an email that confirms that I was accepted for the scholarship.

I home school my teen aged daughter. We’re using a new curriculum this year and all of her books are digital downloadable textbooks. She loves to be on the computer, so she’s enjoying all of her studies being completed on there. The curriculum we purchased has all her lessons online and she completes them at her own pace. I’m finding that she’s working ahead more often now that she’s more in control of her schedule, since everything is on her laptop computer.

Don’t worry about meeting friends; you’ll have a lot of options during high school study abroad. If you’re in a group, try to spend some time with the group members before you go. If you’ll be staying with a host family or on your own, see if you can temporarily join a club at your exchange school. You’ll get to spend time with kids with similar interests, but you’ll also be learning about a new culture. Make a goal to have a conversation with a new person every day. You’ll learn about the city you’re staying in, and you’ll make some lasting connections. Offer to show your friends around your home town if they visit, and they’ll appreciate it.

Many parents around here send their kids to marine biology camps. We are close to the water and it is almost apart of the culture when you live this close to the water.
